Cuaron’s Gravity

I have never been more excited for a movie starring Sandra Bullock than I am for Gravity.  Here’s a terrifying look.

There are a few more one-shot trailers at Dark Horizons.

Also of recent interest regrading Gravity: According to the Mary Sue, Cuaron was asked to replace the female lead with a male before the film went into production. Said Cuaron: “Obviously they were not powerful enough voices, because we got away with it. But the sad thing is that there is still that tendency.”

I love Alfonso Cuaron. His last film, Children of Men, is a desert-island favorite of mine. The only reason it did not feature in my top 5 Non-franchise/Non-superhero sci-fi films of the past 10 years was it’s disqualification due to being adapted from a novel. But Cuaron, he’s the best.
